LOCAL COMPANY LAUNCHES WEBSITE AND MARKS 10 YEARS OF CELEBRATING GRANDPARENTS

The Grandparent Gift Co. Inc. of Alpharetta, GA has launched their website www.grandparentgiftcompany.com. The site features the companies entire line of sentiments which are presented in greeting cards, framed and matted prints, gift books, albums and new keepsake letter boxes. The Grandparent Gift Co. has been a leader in sentimental gifts for both baby and the family since they introduced Grandma’s Heart ten years ago.

The Grandparent Gift Co. was born when founder, Teri Harrison, wrote about the emotions her mother had when she become a new grandmother. The poem she penned, Grandma’s Heart has touched the hearts of tens of thousands of Grandmas who have since purchased Grandma’s Heart. Now 10 years later, Teri has over 80 original sentiments for all generations of the family.

When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away.
I cried the tear because I knew, my heart had held a place for you.

As each day your Mommy grew, I thought and thought and thought of you.
I wondered if you were a girl or boy, and what would be your favorite toy.
I wondered what games we’d play, and how we would spend a day.

Would we talk or read or bake? Oh what special friends we’d make!

When you were born, I held you close. It’s what I’d dreamed of most.
I touched your tiny fingers and toes, I kissed your head, your cheek, your nose.

Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart as happy as can be.
I wish for you the sun and moon, I wish for you a happy tune.
Know that Grandma’s always near, I’d do anything, anything for you my dear.
